Cancellation Policy

At House By The Lake LLC, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while ensuring fair terms for all parties. Please review the following details carefully before making a reservation.

1. Flexible Cancellation Window

  • Free Cancellation within 30 Minutes:
    Guests can cancel their reservation within 30 minutes of booking and receive a 100% refund of the total amount paid.

2. Cancellation After 30 Minutes

  • Cancellations made after 30 minutes of booking are subject to the following conditions:
    • 48 Hours Before Check-In: Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the check-in date will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid.
    • Within 48 Hours of Check-In: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the check-in date are non-refundable.

3. No-Show Policy

  • If the guest does not arrive by the check-in time and has not informed us in advance, the reservation will be considered a no-show and no refund will be issued.

4. Early Check-Out

  • Guests who choose to leave before the end of their reservation will not receive a refund for the unused nights.

5. Modifications to Reservations

  • Changes to Dates: Guests may request a change to their reservation dates, subject to availability and any applicable rate differences.
  • Partial Cancellations: Reducing the length of your stay is treated as a partial cancellation and follows the refund policy outlined above.

6. Extenuating Circumstances

  • In the case of extenuating circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, severe weather, or travel restrictions), guests may request a full or partial refund. Supporting documentation may be required, and refunds are granted at the discretion of House By The Lake LLC.
